Rochelle Widdowson

Rochelle Widdowson is a Peabody and Emmy-nominated producer, director, journalist, and documentary filmmaker whose work spans breaking news, live television, and long-form documentary.

Her most recent credits include Ghost in the Machine, a feature documentary on the history of AI that premiered at Sundance 2026, and an investigative 60 Minutes Australia piece on Epstein. She also co-directed and produced the three-part docuseries Demons & Saviors with Latchkey Films for ABC News Studios, now streaming on Hulu, and produced both seasons of Inside Story, a series about the criminal legal system with VICE News and The Marshall Project.

Rochelle began her career in media at nineteen in her native Australia, moving from radio into TV news reporting while completing her journalism degree in Sydney. She covered politics, courts, and crime across Australia before relocating to New York City. She is passionate about using storytelling to make sense of the world.
